JFS Care carefully supervises and monitors our caregivers via scheduled and non-scheduled visits to our clients’ homes while care is being provided, as well as follow-up phone calls to our clients to ensure that you are in competent, capable hands.
Your personal care assistant is a JFS Care employee. This means that we handle all aspects of employer responsibility, including taxes, required paperwork, workers’ compensation and disability insurance, so those responsibilities rest on our shoulders instead of yours.
Meet the JFS Care Leadership Team
Merrie Beth Boatright
Merrie Beth ensures that JFS Care is providing top-of-the-line care experience for our clients and their families, as well as creating an engaging and rewarding work environment for our care staff. Merrie Beth began working with Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles as part of the caregiver registry program 5 years prior to accepting the position of Director with JFS Care. Outside of work, Merrie Beth enjoys spending time with her family, including her four-legged and furry family members, and also loves working with computers.
Home Care Manager
Stacie manages JFS Care’s day-to-day operations and coordination of client services to assist seniors and families in procuring the right care services to meet their unique needs. Prior to her current position, Stacie worked in an administrative role for Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles, and in marketing for both 20th Century Fox and LA Gear. In her spare time, Stacie is aparty planner, crafter, and overall lover of life and all of its opportunities.
Quiana provides guidance, support, and coordination to our employees, ensuring they are properly oriented, trained, and confident in their positions with JFS Care. Prior to joining the team, Quiana worked as an HR and payroll manager for a property management company for 10 years, and also provided HR support for a Santa Monica-based senior center. When she’s not at work, Quiana loves spending time with her extensive family and coaching her son’s sports teams.
Camille helps new clients to find the right JFS Care services for their needs. She also oversees the attendant field staff, ensuring that services are provided to JFS Care clients responsibly and appropriately. Camille worked for many years as a certified nursing assistant and brings a wealth of hands-on knowledge to JFS Care. When not at work, Camille enjoys spending time with her four lovely children, who keep her very busy with sports and academic pursuits.
Maria (Jessica) Solis
Billing and Payroll Specialist
Under the supervision of JFS Care’s Director, Maria ensures that our billing and payroll systems run smoothly and accurately. Her prior roles at Universal Studios and Bank of America honed her skills and provided her with valuable experience that she now brings to JFS Care. In her personal time, Maria is often traveling to new and exciting places around the world. She is an accomplished crafter and scrapbooker as well as an avid baseball fan.
Valerie manages staffing for JFS Care clients and supervises the attendant field staff. After college, Valerie worked with disabled adults to help them learn to live independently and to navigate everyday life, a position which she found to be extremely rewarding. In addition to her work with JFS Care, Valerie loves movies and is a foodie, trying out new restaurants and cuisines whenever possible.
Lead Staffing Coordinator/ HR Assistant
Monique ensures that our clients have a well-trained and supervised caregiver and coordinates our employee and client calendars to make sure that we always have a caregiver to cover shifts for our clients. For many years prior to assuming this role, Monique provided hands-on caregiving to clients in their own homes and in long-term care facilities as a certified nursing assistant. Monique loves the outdoors and has hiked through many of the natural wonders across the country.
