Philips Lifeline Medical Alert Systems
Older adults can enjoy a more independent lifestyle knowing that, with the touch of a button, help will be on the way when needed.
Uber
Uber is a technology-based, network transportation provider. Many people use Uber via a smartphone app to arrange for rides. We’re pleased to have our own Uber dispatch that allows us to help older adults arrange for transportation so they can continue to go wherever they need or want to go.
Hoarding Services
When someone is burdened by hoarding or over-collecting challenges, we can help restore safety, cleanliness, and organization. Our focus is on doing whatever is necessary to allow the person to remain in the residence. We can help ensure that:
- Pathways are clear
- There is easy entry and egress for fire safety
- There is clearance between heaters and air vents
- The height of stacks and piles of items is not creating a hazard
Through heavy cleaning and organization, we can often restore the home to a more comfortable environment. If a situation is beyond our scope of expertise (such as with infestations of bugs or rodents), we will refer to appropriate resources for abatement and treatment.
We can also coordinate with the person’s housing management or the state/county as needed. We will take pictures before work is performed as a baseline, as well as after work is completed to verify the steps that have been taken. Regardless of the degree of hoarding, JFS Care is here to help.
